How it works
Seven areas. For each one, write what you want in a year, in three years, and in ten. Short is fine. A DREAM Map is not a plan, it is a direction, and the point is that you both know it.
Start with the two or three areas that matter most right now. An empty area is not a failure. It is a place you have not needed yet.
- Fill it in on your own first, then read each other’s.
- Where you already agree, say so out loud. Agreement is easy to miss.
- Where you differ, do not fix it today. Note it and come back.
- Revisit every few months. Celebrate what moved.
The seven areas
Personal Growth & Faith. Who are you each becoming? What would you like to be true of your character and your walk with God?
Relationships & Family. The people you are building this with. Family, friendships, and the ones you are raising or hope to.
Health & Well-Being. Energy, rest, and the habits that make everything else possible.
Purpose & Career. The work in front of you, and what you want it to be for.
Adventure, Fun & Travel. The experiences worth planning, and the memories you want to be able to name later.
Financial Stewardship. What financial freedom would actually look like, and the next step toward it.
Impact & Community. What you want to give back, and to whom.

Keeping it alive
A map you never open is a document. A map you revisit is a direction.
